SEBA has made it clear that the 2021 High School Leaving Examination will not be held in February as before. The metric test will be held in Assam in March instead of February. It is to be noted that a new syllabus has been prepared for the metric examinees by reducing the syllabus in each subject by 30 percent this year before the examination is postponed.

Ramesh Chand Jain, Principal of SEBA, said that it was time for everyone to think about the students and decide to postpone the examination. He revealed that SEBA had recently considered holding the test in the first or second week of March. He also said that a lot would depend on completing the curriculum after re-education.
