The education system in Assam, along with other parts of the country, has been severely affected by the corona situation. Even the upcoming High School Leaving Examination (MET) in Assam this year has been postponed due to the pandemic situation.
SEBA has made it clear that the 2021 High School Leaving Examination will not be held in February as before. The metric test will be held in Assam in March instead of February. SEBA Authorities say the decision was taken because of a problem caused by the coronavirus. when the HSLC exam will be held in Assam 2021.
It is to be noted that a new syllabus has been prepared for the metric examinees by reducing the syllabus in each subject by 30 percent this year before the examination is postponed.
However, SEBA has recently decided to conduct the metric test in March, although the possibility of changing the schedule is based on the circumstances that have not been ruled out. Seba HSLC date 2021.
It is to be noted that in Assam, the metric examination is held in the month of February every year. However, the state’s educational institutions have been closed for almost six months this year due to coronavirus. For which students are deprived of proper education.

The online education system is in place but not everyone is able to benefit from it. According to government figures, only 70 percent of the students in the state have access to the online education system.
Ramesh Chand Jain, Principal of SEBA, said that it was time for everyone to think about the students and decide to postpone the examination. He revealed that SEBA had recently considered holding the test in the first or second week of March. He also said that a lot would depend on completing the curriculum after re-education.
