Assam Polytechnic PAT 2020 online enlistment Application Form has been discharged. Assam Polytechnic PAT exam is conducted by DTE, Assam. Assam PAT entrance exam is a polytechnic exam conducted once in a year and offer admission to the candidates in the Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering courses.

 Polytechnics provide facilities for study in three-year Diploma Courses in Engineering and Technology at Polytechnics Institute after 10th passed. And polytechnics provide Modern Office Management for girls only after 12th passed candidates. 

Admission will be offered to the PAT entrance test qualifying candidates into various polytechnic institutions situated in the state of Assam. Through this article, candidates will know details regarding Assam Polytechnic PAT 2020 online registration process.


The Diploma Courses offered by the Polytechnics Institute. Polytechnic Institute affiliated to the State Council for Technical Education(SCTE), Assam is recognized for the purposes of recruitment to posts and services under the State Governments and Central Government in appropriate fields. All the Diploma courses conducted in the Polytechnics are approved by the AICTE.

Important Dates:

  • Online application: 01-03-2020 to 31-03-2020
  • Issue of Online Admit Card:27-04-2020 onwards
  • Date of Admission Test:10-05-2020

Step 1:
1) Log on to https// dte.assam.gov.in and click on PAT 2020 for registration for Courses of Engineering/ Technology and click on Modern Office Management-2020 for the course on Modern Office Management.
2) Download the Information Brochure and read it carefully before filling up the PAT online registration form.

Step 2:

Fill the Application form properly.

Step 3:

Upload the candidate’s photograph and signature and save the Application form by clicking the ‘Submit Button’.

Step 4:

After the final submit the Application form is saved and your ‘Application Number’ will be generated. Note down the Application number and keep it securely for future use.

Read the provided instructions carefully. After reading the instruction the click on “Next” to continue.

SBI collect pat online apply 2020,

The next steps of the application process shall take you to the Payment Portal of State Bank Collect, you will be asked to enter your:
(i) Application number
(ii) Centre of Examination
(iii) Candidate Name
(iv) Contact number
(v) Date of Birth

Step 5:

Provide your details and proceed to pay an application fee of Rs. 500.The payments options available:
(i) Online payments can be made by Net Banking, Debit Card & Credit Cards.

(ii) Offline payments at any branch of State Bank of India can also be opted by selecting the Pay at SBI Branch option and printing the generated Bank Challan.
You may close the window and continue for storing the “Application Fee” with the created Bank Challan at any Branch of “State Bank of India (SBI)”.

Step 6:

Printouts of the payment receipt generated by State Bank Collect, for future reference. The”State Bank Collect” advance is the last advance of the application and is required to be finished for the effective application process.


Candidates who have successfully completed the above online registration steps can check their status at any time by using Log on to https// dte.assam.gov.in Applicant Login area.
Payments received shall be reflected and updated in the applicant login after receiving payment confirmation from Bank.
